The Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate is approved as one of the components required for the related Apprenticeship framework.

What is the purpose of this qualification?

The primary target group is stewards who provide services – such as health, safety and security, customer service to help spectators have a safe and enjoyable experience at the event. Typical settings will be events held at either indoor or outdoor facilities including for example, football stadia,
indoor arenas and other sport centres.

Who is this qualification for?

This qualification is for all learners aged 16 and above who are capable of reaching the required standards.

This qualification requires individuals to demonstrate competence against National Occupational Standards, which are based on the needs of the sector as defined by SkillsActive, the Sector Skills Council. As such it contributes to the development of skilled labour in the sector.
